What a GREAT ADVENTURE we had at Church Camp!

From Friday evening through Sunday morning, our campers enjoyed a weekend packed with fun, laughter, fellowship, worship, and unforgettable moments with God. With Joshua 1:9 as our theme verse, campers were challenged to be strong and courageous as they follow God wherever He leads.

Brother BJ Latta brought powerful messages to our kids, encouraging them to live courageously and to have a desire for MORE of God in their lives. Friday and Saturday evening services gave our campers an opportunity to worship, listen, pray, and respond to what God was doing in their hearts.

And God moved!

Six campers gave their hearts to the Lord! What an incredible reason to celebrate! These are more than numbers—they represent six young lives changed and six new beginnings in Christ.

Of course, camp wasn’t all serious! There were plenty of games, lots of swimming in the creek, some REALLY good food, and more laughter than we could count. Friendships were strengthened, memories were made, and we simply enjoyed being together.

Sunday morning was the perfect ending to The Great Adventure as our church family joined the campers for worship. Following the service, we gathered together for a special baptism celebration, where NINE individuals were baptized! What a beautiful way to close an amazing weekend—celebrating lives that have been changed and people publicly declaring their faith in Jesus!

We cannot say THANK YOU enough to everyone who made this weekend possible. To every person who prayed, donated, gave financially, provided supplies, prepared food, volunteered, worked behind the scenes, supported our kids, or helped in any way—THANK YOU! Your generosity gave these young people an opportunity to get away, have fun, build relationships, and most importantly, encounter God.

Church Camp 2026 may have lasted only from Friday night through Sunday morning, but we believe the impact will last much longer.

6 gave their hearts to the Lord.
9 were baptized.
Countless memories were made.
And THE GREAT ADVENTURE is only beginning!

We came to camp ready for an adventure, and we left reminded that the greatest adventure of all is a life lived courageously for Jesus.

Be strong. Be courageous. Want MORE of God. And never forget—He is with you wherever you go!  Joshua 1:9
